Versuchen Sie wenn möglich zunächst, die Polyurethan-Anschlagpuffer in Ihren vorhandenen hinteren Stoßdämpfern zu kürzen. Das könnte helfen.

Hello folks,
Sorry my German language is so poor I write this in English.
I had also this weird noise on my 2018 Mokka X coming from the rear of the car when driving at slow speed over multiple bumps/holes on the road. Original rear shock absorbers were changed to Bilstein B4 but the noise didnt go away. Last winter I changed the shock absorbers again to KYB Excel-G and Sachs dust covers/bumpstops. I shortened the bumpstop lenght couple of centimeters before assembling them to the shock. I was pleasently suprised that the clunking noise disappeared!
My theory is that the original dust cover has too long bumpstop. The picture shows the position of the bumpstop when the suspension is at its neutral position. There is only about 30mm distance between the bumpstop and the shock absorber lower body. When driving over bumps the bumpstop hits the shock absorber body and makes that noise, "poltern"
So before buying new shock absorbers try to shorten the bumpstop, that might help!
If you find this useful, could someone translate it to german language.

PS. I try to add a picture if I figure out how I can post it to this forum
